Policies & Procedures

As is frequently said, the tone of an organisation is set at the top.  Don’t let your tone be misunderstood by Board-approved policy positions becoming lost in translation to procedures.

Whether you’re a fledgling operation or a well-established one, we will bring a degree of rigour to policy formulation and review.  This will, at all times, be mindful that policy responsibility rests at Board level while procedures are the responsibility of the Executive team. 

We will prepare any necessary documents for approval in accordance with our “Best Fit for Purpose” principles and will present these as required.  We will capture any suggested changes and will manage these by way of track changes and version control.  We will identify optimum review periods and will agree systems to assist the ongoing relevance of your corporate documents.  This work will be delivered in accordance with your pre-determined schedules that assist with process buy-in from your busy staff.  Where your procedures and processes must accord with those of regulators, funders, etc., we will signpost readers to their guidance to reduce the need for revisions.

We also recognise that sometimes a need can arise to seek forgiveness post event than permission in advance.  We will identify likely areas where this can occur and will develop processes to also cover exceptional events or items.
