Capacity Building & Workshop Facilitation

Even the best organisations need to refresh their skills to keep abreast of changes in the operating environment.  Others just need Board members to step back from the day to day operational business to operate effectively at a strategic level.  To minimise fall out such as disengagement, an objective voice guiding Board and Executive development can be a worthwhile investment.

We work with your organisation to either identify the opportunities for capacity building or to address areas previously identified.  This is done via a formal engagement process and informed by the completion of structured questionnaires or interviews with participants.  We analyse the outputs and consider the environment in which you operate.  We will then rollout a bespoke programme to meet your needs and those of your staff.  Where training needed falls outside of our skills set, we will source options for you.

We will deliver training as required in a suitable format and at a time and place that meets your needs.  We don’t charge a premium for working outside of the 9-5.  We recognise that, quite often, we are dealing with volunteers giving freely of their time.

Sometimes however, we recognise that the skills and experience are already at the table.  It genuinely is a case of not seeing the wood for the trees.  In these instances, we are happy to work with your teams via a structured process to develop the policies, plans, and procedures that assist your likelihood of success.  This work will however have a degree of challenge, a focus on risk and hopefully constructive criticism.
